‘Live Up To You’ is about taking responsibility and action to lead change that improves your own well-being and that of others. We’re talking self-empowerment where you take control of your health and wellbeing one little challenge or step at a time. General health information is often conflicting and overwhelming and we don’t even know where to start to help ourselves. We live in a society where our ownership of health and wellbeing is increasingly outsourced to others. Common sense is not common practice.

What if we simplified it? 

What if we came up with small, effective strategies in the form of challenges or simple steps, that we knew had a positive effect on wellbeing?

These challenges/steps could be implemented by anyone and everyone. Instead of comparing ourselves with everyone else, what if we just lived up to our own expectations and worked on being the best version of ourselves we can be? If we took responsibility for our own wellbeing then we are well placed to support the wellbeing of others (like in an emergency in a plane, you put your own mask on first then you attend to others). If you grow more you can give more.

The ‘Live Up To You’ challenges/strategies are designed to be used by individuals, groups, clubs, businesses, schools and communities. We could really move the needle positively for well-being by taking collective action in small, simple, effective, sustainable and fun ways.

So go ahead try a strategy from the Wellbeing Challenges. Just take one little step in a positive direction and share back your stories so we can create wellbeing ‘ripples’ throughout the world.
