Hi, my name is Megan Martin. I’m closer to 50 than 40 and like anyone who has made it this far, I’ve had my share of life-changing experiences and significant events, such as the Christchurch earthquakes. These have shaped and changed the course of my life and that of my community. It breaks my heart in my work as a educator and a coach to witness first hand the struggles our society has in regards to mental health.

Since 2018, I have been experimenting with wellbeing tools, strategies and ideas to see if they would make a difference in my own life. Below is a summary of what I have tried. Some worked, some didn’t, but it gave me a sense of agency that I was in control of my health and wellbeing. Instead of just ‘talking’ about wellbeing I ‘lived it’. So I encourage and challenge you to try a challenge, learn it, embed it and live it and see how it works for you. Each challenge is simple, small and actionable, but when they are added up over time they truly have an accumulative effect on improving wellbeing.

“Live up to your expectations, your life path and being the best version of yourself you can be”
