1. Write it Down Journal it When I was a teenager, I kept fantastic journals of life for me at the time (makes for funny reading). Now all I keep is an appointment diary with a never ending to do list!I wanted to keep a diary of my 2018 challenge and how I felt along the way. I kept it super simple by just jotting down a few main points of the day and added one thing I am grateful for. I kept the expectations of myself to a minimum and as a consequence it really became an easy habit for me to stick to. By just adding one thing I’m grateful for it switched my brain from focusing on the negative to the positive. I will dig more deeply into gratitude in future challenges.
