Calm The Storm

Sometimes, life throws you lemons and yes they say you can make lemonade but sometimes, you just have to embrace the ‘suck’. This challenge was born out of necessity. Things just did not pan out as planned and in fact during this time there were three major ‘curve balls’ that I did not see coming. The type of things that ‘pull the rug from out under your feet’ and make you questions who you are? what you are doing? and why are you doing it? This is life and every now and then you just have to hunker down and deal with the ‘crap’ that comes your way. The trouble is the ‘crap’ tends to take over everything. So this challenge was so simple. In the midst of the chaos just breathe. That’s what I did when I felt it all getting too overwhelming my strategy was just to breathe. I just focused on the air coming in and out. Did I lose it? Yes many times and there were a couple of nights of crying myself to sleep and a little rocking in the corner. However, I got through it. Sometimes, just breathing, surviving and getting through is enough.
