What is JOMO?
Most of us have heard of the term FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out), but have you heard of the term JOMO (Joy Of Missing Out)?
The definition I like the most is from Dictionary.com where they state that JOMO is:
“a feeling of contentment with one’s own pursuits and activities, without worrying over the possibility of missing out on what others may be doing”.
In a crazy ‘COVID’ year where many people have missed out on many things, it might be worth just pausing for a second and reflecting on the things in our lives that we use to do and we really don’t miss.
